Well, August is nearly over ! Jeez, busy times. Look Closely is picking up lots of support from various sources, JaNaTaH Dj's (Cheers Don!), Bill Vega, Dave Vice (Vice Squad) & Mark Duncan(The Wax Man himself) amongst others. It's been or being aired on Breaks FM, and Point Blank FM which is sweet too. Thanks to eveyone who's giving support, lets keep it rollin and make sure the release get's the recognition it deserves. For those who haven' theard it yet, bag your copy now here. It's a full on, no nonesense belter, complete with a few licks of old-school flava.

Back from the big smoke ! The Mofo/Global beats shindig was a mightly fine bash ..nice people, good tunes, cheers Jim for the guesty..5 deck Drunken Allstars set was kickin'.

Just got news that Beatroot's 'Nightclub' is number 6 in Bill Vega's chart and Number 3 in the JaNaTaH DJ's chart ..wicked news. Good to know the track's getting support where it matters. Get it here before it hits the stores big time.

Spent a day in the Studio yesterday with 'Skinny Sumo' vocalist 'Deriq Phillips', laying down the vocals for 2 Step, the forthcoming 12" from The Feltpeople. A wicked day ensued and the result., a blinding track with serious attitude. Watch this space for release details coming soon.

Nursing a massive hangover this morning after shaking my tooch at last nights Out In The Sticks gig with funky house meister Victor Simonelli. Although this site is primarily aimed at anything but house, we recognise good tunes in any genre. The guy really built the night by playing not only funky house but what I can only describe as some serious tribal rythms & breaks! Wicked. It's good to to hear that some DJ's are not following the same old formula.
