Our control rooms are filled with a wide selection
of classic and state of the art equipment.
Control room one, which
serves the live/rehearsal room directly, is based around the
famous hit maker Mackie 'd8b' digital console with full
patchbay, the studio offers fully automated recording and
mixdown. The d8b has been expanded with additional UFX and
MFX processor cards.
Further to this, the
control room also houses an industry standard ProTools™
audio production system, no ordinary Pro Tools system either, We've installed Pro Tools HD3 running on a dual
processor power Mac complete with three 96 I/O's and countless professional plug-ins including the SSL 4000 series TDM set. This has been
seamlessly integrated with the Mackie to provide a massive
214 track capability at mix down!
Added to that, we're equipped with the best Mic pre-amps in the world from Calrec & Rupert Neve.
Professional multi-track recording, mixing, production & mastering is our specialty. The option to record or master to analogue tape is available (on
request).
Monitoring is as good as it gets, with Genelec 8030a's,
Active Truths, Kef 104's, dB Technology, Gale & Auratone monitors.
Control room two houses a fully automated midi-based
recording facility, ideal for dance music production, jingle
production, voice over work, keyboard work, song arrangement
and more. This room can be used to support control room one
and all audio can be transferred seamlessly, without
degradation in quality, between rooms via a high speed
network!
We provide a variety of mastering medium, DAT, CD & Tape.
Piano
We are now proud to offer
our clients the ability to record using our huge array of
virtual Grand Pianos. With breathtakingly rich and realistic
sounds, their tonal precision and outstanding dynamic
qualities rival those of real, quality acoustic concert
grand pianos.
Piano's include the German Steinway D 9' Concert Grand,
Bosendorfer 290 Imperial Grand, and Yamaha C7 Grand. In
addition to these we have baby grands, uprights, electric
piano's, classic Fender Rhodes, Hammond's, Wurly EPs as well
as FM pianos, Clav D6 and more.
When used in conjunction with our 6 Octave Roland A-33
Master Keyboard the results are truly stunning.
